  2. Thank you for purchasing the ClickArt Handwritten Fonts!

  4. In our Summer 1995 catalog, the font displayed as "Cool" was 
  5. actually a font called "Tech". The font "Cool" is included 
  6. on the Handwritten Fonts CD, but does not resemble the 
  7. sample in the catalog. "Tech" is included in the 2500 
  8. ClickArt Fonts CD. Although "Tech" is not a handwriting 
  9. font, we have decided to include "Tech" as a bonus in case 
  10. you have made your purchasing decision based on seeing 
  11. "Tech" in our catalog. We hope that you enjoy using both 
  12. "Cool" and "Tech"!

  14. This product comes with electronic documentation, which has 
  15. been designed to assist you in using ClickArt.  Please 
  16. follow the instructions below so that you may access the 
  17. electronic documentation correctly:

  19. Instructions:
  20. 1.  Using the File Manager, select your ClickArt CD
  21.  
  22. 2.  Locate the file ACROREAD.EXE and double click on the
  23.     file icon.
  24.  
  25. 3.  Follow the instructions given on the screen.

  27. The Adobe Acrobat Installer will also install a help file, 
  28. which you can use to learn how to navigate through Acrobat 
  29. documents.

  31. You are now ready to use your ClickArt!  We sincerely hope 
  32. the electronic document feature will enhance your enjoyment 
  33. of this product.

  46. treaties protect these ClickArt images and fonts ("The 
  47. Images and Fonts"). T/Maker Company ("T/Maker") depended on 
  48. the availability of this protection when it decided to 
  49. spend the time and money required to produce The Images and 
  50. Fonts. Nevertheless, T/Maker realizes that you have licensed 
  51. this copy of The Images and Fonts so that you could copy The 
  52. Images and Fonts in their present or a modified form and 
  53. incorporate them into another work.
  54. T/Maker therefore gives you permission to copy and modify 
  55. The Images and Fonts for your own internal use. The Images 
  56. and Fonts may not be distributed as part of any software 
  57. product or as part of an electronic document or collection 
  58. of documents without written permission from T/Maker. 
  59. T/Maker, however, gives you permission to incorporate and 
  60. distribute duplicate or modified Images and Fonts as an 
  61. incidental part of any non-electronic product or collection 
  62. of products which are distributed commercially (i.e., 
  63. distributed for profit, such as a newsletter); provided 
  64. the use or distribution of any of The Images and Fonts does 
  65. not constitute a substantial portion of the value of the 
  66. goods distributed commercially. For example, you may not, 
  67. without written permission from T/Maker, use an Image as an 
  68. art image on a T-shirt or poster manufactured for resale. 
  69. You may not make any copies of any portion of The Images and 
  70. Fonts for distribution or resale. Except as specifically 
  71. stated above, you may not copy, modify, or distribute The 
  72. Images and Fonts.

  74. T/Maker Company grants you this license for a single CPU 
  75. (central processing unit) only. This software may not be 
  76. loaded onto a Local Area Network unless a license has been 
  77. purchased for each CPU on the Network.

  85. to distribute duplicate or modified Images and Fonts other 
  86. than expressly permitted under this license, or if you have

  89. LIMITED WARRANTY
  90. T/Maker warrants to you, the original Licensee, that The 
  91. Images and Fonts are substantially in conformance with the 
  92. visual index/manual for a period of 90 days from the date 
  93. of purchase. If a disk is defective, T/Maker Company will 
  94. replace the disk at no charge to you, if you return the 
  95. disk to T/Maker at the address below with proof of purchase 
  96. within 90 days after you purchased it. Your sole and 
  97. exclusive remedy, and T/MakerÆs sole and exclusive 
  98. liability, will be either replacement of the disk or a 
  99. refund of the purchase price in accordance with this 
  100. limited warranty.

  102. THE ABOVE WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION 
  103. OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO THE IMAGES AND FONTS MADE BY 
  104. T/MAKER OR ANYONE ELSE INVOLVED IN THE CREATION, PRODUCTION, 
  105. DELIVERY, OR LICENSING OF THE IMAGES AND FONTS. FURTHERMORE, 
  106. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE IMAGES AND FONTS 
  107. OR DISKS, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, 
  108. FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT OF 
  109. THIRD PARTY RIGHTS, ARE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMED.
  110. NEITHER T/MAKER NOR ANYONE ELSE INVOLVED IN THE CREATION, 
  111. PRODUCTION, DELIVERY, OR LICENSING OF THE IMAGES AND FONTS 
  112. MAKES ANY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS 
  113. OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE IMAGES AND FONTS OR THEIR 
  114. QUALITY, RELIABILITY, OR PERFORMANCE, OR THEIR 
  115. MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSES. 
  116. THE IMAGES AND FONTS ARE LICENSED "AS IS." YOU ASSUME THE 
  117. ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY, RELIABILITY, AND PERFORMANCE 
  118. OF THE IMAGES AND FONTS. IF THE IMAGES AND FONTS PROVE 
  119. DEFECTIVE, YOU, AND NOT T/MAKER OR ANYONE ELSE INVOLVED IN 
  120. THE CREATION, PRODUCTION, DELIVERY, OR LICENSING OF THE 
  121. IMAGES AND FONTS, MUST ASSUME THE ENTIRE COST OF ALL 
  122. NECESSARY CORRECTIONS.

  124. DISCLAIMER OF DAMAGES
  125. IN NO EVENT WILL T/MAKER OR ANYONE ELSE INVOLVED IN THE 
  126. CREATION, PRODUCTION, DELIVERY, OR LICENSING OF THE IMAGES 
  127. AND FONTS BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, 
  128. INCIDENTAL, DIRECT, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING 
  129. OUT OF THE USE OF THE IMAGES AND FONTS OR ANY DEFECT IN THE 
  130. IMAGES AND FONTS, EVEN IF T/MAKER OR ANYONE ELSE INVOLVED IN 
  131. THE CREATION, PRODUCTION, DELIVERY, OR LICENSING OF THE 
  132. IMAGES AND FONTS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH 
  133. DAMAGES. 
  134. This notice will be construed, interpreted, and governed by 
  135. the laws of the state of California as applied to 
  136. transactions taking place entirely within California between 
  137. California residents. Should you have any questions
